MedAlert

Privacy Policy  ·  Effective date: June 1, 2026

MedAlert stores all health data locally on your device and never transmits it. The app displays ads, which may collect limited device information as described below.

This Privacy Policy explains how MedAlert ("the app", "we") handles information when you use our medication tracking application on Android or iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy — especially because our users include elderly individuals and their caregivers.

1. Health Data — Stays on Your Device

All information you enter — medication names, doses, schedules, and dose history — is stored locally on your device only using an on-device database. This data never leaves your device.

MedAlert does not collect or transmit:

There is no account registration, no login, and no backend server. Deleting the app removes all stored health data permanently.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

MedAlert displays ads provided by Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may collect the following information to serve and measure ads:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by MedAlert. It is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings: on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads; on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

3. Third-Party Services

MedAlert uses the following third-party service:

No analytics, crash reporting, or other tracking SDKs are included in the app.

4. Children's Privacy

MedAlert is designed for adults, including elderly users. The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Advertising is not directed at children.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at the same URL. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
